About Mark

The practice of espionage is a quiet act of war: A very human endeavor, sometimes born of lies and betrayal, of greed or revenge; but often of deep truths and trust.

Mark Fowler is a former CIA officer and an emerging author: He is currently working on an espionage trilogy series featuring CIA officer Victoria "Vic" O'Bannon.

- 'A Prince of Mirrors' -

When the US assassinates Iranian Qods Force Commander General Soleimani, elite CIA case officer Victoria “Vicˮ OʼBannon finds her entire network in jeopardy from a spy hunt by Iran's vaunted Revolutionary Guards.

As Vic navigates this treacherous landscape to protect her assets, she uncovers a devastating plot, forcing her into a desperate race to identify and stop an Iranian deep-cover sleeper agent before he can unleash catastrophe on US soil.

- 'Second Protocol' -

CIA officer Victoria “Vicˮ OʼBannon is sent on a high-stakes undercover mission to Tehran to stop Iran and China from building a revolutionary cyberweapon.

Posing as a third-country diplomat, she must handle a disillusioned Chinese spy while navigating a labyrinth of local resistance fighters, ruthless regime enforcers, and her own personal demons. As alliances shift and betrayals mount, Vic finds that the deadliest threat may not be the weapon, but the secrets sheʼs forced to keep.

- 'Beirut Down' -

After a decisive defeat by Israel and the collapse of its proxy strategy, Iran attempts to regain influence by destabilizing Lebanon. Amidst this turmoil, China exploits the situation, aiming to secure the Lebanese Port of Tripoli for its own strategic interests.

Retired CIA officer Mike Lambaugh, visiting family in Lebanon, becomes a target of an IRGC officer who kidnaps his wife, Neda, to force Mike into revealing critical CIA secrets.

Defying orders from flawed Agency leadership, CIA officer Victoria “Vic” O’Bannon travels to Lebanon to help rescue Neda and Mike, while safeguarding vital intelligence.
